The Miracle of Love

Wow! I found this image at Non-Violent Planet News. Here's the story on these two. They're an odd couple in every sense but a monkey and a pigeon have become inseparable at an animal sanctuary in China. The 12-week-old macaque - who was abandoned by his mother - was close to death when it was rescued on Neilingding Island, in Goangdong Province. After being taken to an animal hospital his health began to improve but he seemed spiritless - until he developed a friendship with a white pigeon. The blossoming relationship helped to revive the macaque who has developed a new lease of life, say staff at the sanctuary. Now the unlikely duo are never far from each other's side.

Amazing Animal Action Photos

A squirrel monkey leaps from tree to tree, carrying her baby. A red fox pounces on breakfast. Another red fox plays with her food. Wow. It's the "catch of the day". An awesome shot of a sparrow in the birdbath. A frog caught mid-leap! Bears... they love to have fun! I saved the best for last. Never bother an eagle when he is eating!!

Really little, and really cute!

The world's smallest dog! Here's a really cute little guy called a Sugar Glider. This is the world's smallest horse! Wow! She is small! This little sea turtle is really tiny! My what big eyes for such a small little guy. He's a Bohol Tarsier. And this is a Pygmy Marmoset, one of the world's smallest monkies! This little guy is the world's smallest lizard. A Pygmy Owl.. so cool! Awww... the world's smallest kitten!
